Tawana Lee

Tawana Lee is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (DC) and Licensed Master Social Worker (MD), as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II). She has extensive experience supporting children, adults, and families, with specialties in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and personality disorders. Tawana is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore challenges, identify strengths, and build healthier ways of coping.

With a background in both clinical practice and government service, Tawana brings a unique perspective to her work. She served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force as an Information Manager/Knowledge Operator and later worked at the U.S. Department of State as a Community Liaison Office Coordinator, where she supported individuals and families through crisis management and life transitions. These experiences deepened her understanding of resilience, adaptability, and the importance of human connection.

Tawana earned her Bachelor of Applied Science with a minor in Psychology from Campbell University and her Master of Social Work with a Mental Health concentration from the University of Southern California. She uses a strengths-based approach in therapy and often integrates CBT, motivational interviewing, and meditation to support clients in their healing journey. Guided by the “whole person concept,” Tawana is committed to helping clients move beyond survival and toward thriving.
